Version 4.1 has been released to fix two spawn rate issues.
The first issue was with the Belgian skins accidentally being on for all countries instead of just Belgium.
The second issue was me forgetting to reset one of the UK frequency factors after testing my newest skins. It was left on 8 when it should have been set to 1. Both issues have been fixed.
First off there was a minor error in the Nestle trailer pack, their was a missing BCP look on the lod trailer. While this won’t cause any noticeable issues for the average gamer, it will leave errors in the log file. This has now been fixed.
The AI vans also had a few updates.
First up the mod has been renamed, so if you update make sure to remove the old mod.
Due to the size of the UK vans, I have split the UK skins into two models. This should increase the variety of UK skins at any given time.
I’ve also added 4 new skins. ATL (slightly edited due to model issues), DX, Interlink, and HSS hire.
Fixed a spelling error in the new Yodel AI trailer definitions that causes a game crash when the game tries to load the trailer in traffic.
I’ve added a new tutorial to the tutorials page. This one is a brief how to for making your own skinning templates for trucks/trailers.
Includes HD video.
The same processes should work for modded trucks as well as the SCS defaults, however things will vary dependant on how the modder mapped the trucks/trailers.
Today sees the release of the updated UKPSG mod.
Version 2 sees older/defunct companies removed from the main pack and added to a second optional pack. There’s also some new trailers added.
Before I preview the new trailers, I would like to point out the UKPSG page has moved, it is no longer a sub-page of the companies/trailers page, but has been moved to it’s own page on the navigation section above.
New trailers: Lynx, Whistl, Internlink, DX, and Yodel Direct.
First up I have updated the two “no yawn” mods. They were in the “other” category for the mod manager, I have changed this to “sound”.
Also released David Fox skin for the medium DAF 105 cab.
So I have used the TZ Fuel Tanker model to make a new trailer for the Nestlé pack.
I don’t know if these trailers are still used, but I saw the pictures on google and had to make one.
