For those of you who use Steam Workshop mods, what would you rather a mod author do?

Would you rather they add new parts to an existing pack and rename the mod to better suit the new parts, or would rather they upload it as a new mod (including the old parts) and let the original mod expire and eventually delete it?

For reference sake: I am planning on adding some general accessory parts to my existing Bullbars with Oversized Banner mod for ATS and wondering what the majority think for how I should combine the parts on Workshop.
