Update: The mod has been relisted as of 9am December 5th and will stay on the Workshop.
Also I would like to apologise to modhub.us, on contact you have removed the mod immediately from your site. I unfairly assumed you were just another pirate mod hosting site. Your actions say otherwise.
As you maybe aware the Owned Trailer mod has been removed from Steam Workshop. This is not an accident.
Illegally hosting my mod in direct violation of the license agreement, the mod is no longer available to the public. What you have to remember is I make mods for myself, I release them to the community if interest is shown, however I will not support pirates.
Just so you know, this mod will stay as “friends only” so the few friends on my Steam friends list can still use it.
Well it’s Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC release day today, so I have to celebrate with some of my own updates right?
ArrCraib – New SCS trailer model, ai cables, and newer skin replaces the old one.
Bernard Giraud – New SCS trailer model, and ai cables.
Norfolkline combo – New SCS trailer model, ai cables and a new trailer.
Big Stobart Mod – Multiple fixes, added walkers trailer, added owned trailer skin, added custom mudflap.
SCS Company Painted AI Vans Baltic Edition – multiple new vans in Baltic DLC paint jobs. Please note this mod will go live on workshop only when the DLC releases (6pm UTC) But you can check out the paint jobs on the appropriate page now.
For those of you who use Steam Workshop mods, what would you rather a mod author do?
Would you rather they add new parts to an existing pack and rename the mod to better suit the new parts, or would rather they upload it as a new mod (including the old parts) and let the original mod expire and eventually delete it?
For reference sake: I am planning on adding some general accessory parts to my existing Bullbars with Oversized Banner mod for ATS and wondering what the majority think for how I should combine the parts on Workshop.
You may have noticed a lot of mods have been removed. This is completely intentional. With over 200 mods I felt it was time to have a nice clear out and make sure all mods listed were only mods that will work on version 1.32+
This also enabled me to delete a lot of old images that were out of date and just taking up server space.
What does this mean for the “removed” mods. In most cases it just means they need updating, while I can’t promise every mod will return, most of them probably will in one form or another.
This clean up will also allow me to reboot existing mods (Stobart for example) where some things have changed between the mod releasing and the game updates which have caused minor issues, without me feeling like I am neglecting all the other mods.
So what is happening with updates. As I hinted at above, I want to focus on fixing minor issues with existing 1.32 mods right now before moving onto updating older mods.
Wyvern, BSM, BMM, Davies, and Green Group all have minor issues. These trailer models were all made during closed and open beta for 1.32, unfortunately during OB SCS changed a few things that caused the trailer wheels to stick out which means the nodes need moving. BSM and BMM also have issues with incomplete models on the Walking Floors. So my goal over the next few days is to fix all the issues, add AI trailer cables to BSM and BMM since they didn’t get done last time and then I will focus on other things again.
I should point out that although this updates will be done in the next couple of days, don’t expect to see them updated any time soon. I have made the decision not to push through public updates until the Baltcis DLC update comes, since I fully expect to see it this month, it makes sense to hold off the updates until that time to avoid players having to update the same mods twice in quick succession.
It’s finally here, the PSG mod has been updated to 1.32. The trailer in this mod have been rebuilt from the ground up using only SCS trailers and some personal edits by me. All content is either my own or SCS now. Yay!
A few changes have been made, for example UKmail has been moved to defunct. They were purchased by DHL a while ago and have now rebranded to DHL Parcels UK and deliver under the DHL brand.
