The new Volvo has two variations, the FH & FH16. The Volvo FH has a black grill and is available for engines with 540HP or less.
The Volvo FH16 has the chrome grill and is available with engines of 540HP and upwards.
This mod allows you to chose between the black or chrome grills for all engine power. The FH/FH16 badge will be shown correctly for which ever colour you choose. Engines with the letter “B” at the end are the alternate versions, without a “B” are the stock SCS versions.

Possibly the quickest mod I have ever made.
So what am I working on? I found Neal Haulage while looking through Google for skins to make.
When I started this project, I had no idea how time consuming it was going to be. We’ve got all the blue and yellow/orange that fades in places, while not exactly difficult it was sure time consuming. What surprised me was how long I spent making, positioning, and resizing the Topline V8 logo. All told 40 minutes and it’s not finished yet, not sure if the image will be big enough to see, but the “8” isn’t there yet, just the place holder I put in (which happens to be the Scania logo.)
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
Thanks to a little help from Ohaha on the SCS forum, I have learnt how to make my own templates.
As a result I have done away with the original Scania V4 mod template by maghetto and made my own. Any one familiar with his original template will understand the issues with it, mainly the overly thick black lines which made accuracy to place delicate/accurate paintwork on the front grill very difficult.
I have now created my own template for the front grill and added it to original Scania templates by szeryff123. The new template should be much easier to work with and I hope it will be useful for you. The Scania template folder now has two folders: Original and IJs ScanV4 — The original folder is szeryff123’s template for the original model and the latter is of course my version for the v4 mod.
These templates and the templates for the new Volvo FH are all included in the template archive found on the Truck Skinning tutorial page.
With the release of patch 1.7 and the new Volvo FH, I have made the new Volvo FH version of Stobart’s Phoebe Grace (complete with correct fleet number.)
As with the FH16 the globetrotter and black wheel arches can’t be painted with out affecting all Volvos in the game, so I left them alone.
2pm BST – UPDATE: I’ve made some improvements to the skin. The little bit of red on the doors above the lights has been removed as it over ran a little bit. Corrected the left side so the green S’s are the right way around and made the white/silver reflective S on the sides a little bit more visible.
3pm BST – UPDATE: I have also updated the skins for the Stobart Scania & the StobartRail Scania to fix the left hand side S logos.
Well I am a huge Luis Royo fan, so I suppose it shouldn’t come as a surprise that sooner or later I would design a skin based on Royo’s work.
This custom piece has been in the works for some time, being delayed by my lack of creative desire, GTA V, Fifa and of course doing skins for other people. But finally, today, I decided to finish up (not that there was really much to do) and here is my final piece.

Added a Spiers & Hartwell Scania/Company by request.
Updated the Big Stobart mod to include support for the Promods maps. Stobart will now take some cargo to the Scania and Volvo companies in the Promods map.
Added a brand new Stobart company mod. Unlike my previous skins, the new Stobart mod will no longer be limited to just white or green trailers (though these versions will remain for those that wish to use them.)
The new mod named “The Big Stobart Company Mod” has been made so that individual trailers (green curtain, green solid/fridge, white fridge, white biomass and white tankers) can be used within the company. To do this the in/out cargo for ‘Stokes’ had to be extensively modified. As a result installing this mod will result in the game cancelling any job you are doing and return you to your main garage. There is a full list of detailed changes on the company mods page.
Also edited the Marshalls (with cargo) mod so that the cargo mod is now using the 1.4x version style. This means there should no longer be any risk of incompatiblity with other cargo mods.
Also added a blue interior that replaces the beige exclusive interior for Scania.
So we have come down to two trailers. I honestly can’t decide which would be the better option so I am going to open it to voting. The current trailer used for the Biomass is the regular fridge trailer. However I am planning on changing this to either:
The Curtain-sider/profi-liner.
Or this slightly modified fridge unit.
Since this is something that will affect anyone who uses the mod, I decided to let you vote.
