Over a year ago I let it be known that I was going to update the Stobart Skins packs, remove some skins and merge the other skins with the main pack. I intended to do this for game version 1.32 but never got around to it then, now I have.
The Ohaha and RJL skins and support has officially ended. The only skin for RJL that remains is the Scania T one.
The Stobart Replica pack has had a few skins removed as I didn’t want to many multiples of the same truck. Some popular truck skins were left in however. The entire content of the “Other Skins” pack can now be found in the main pack.
The pack also includes Lady Judith Hurst for the new MAN TGX E6.
A few more updates have been pushed through.
On Steam the Air Fresheners got an update in both ATS and ETS2 to change the blue beta tester colour to better match the new forum colour. SCS Synergy (red circle green, blue, and gold teeth) added.
The Big Malcolm Mod also got a minor tweak to add English localisation for trailer browser so the tn_ no longer appears.
A few days ago I also updated the Scania Accessory Pack to include remoled brows support to my headlights.
For the offline mods, AIM, Caffrey, Children in Need, and Club trailers have all been updated from the old reefer mod to SCS based trailers.
This link will stay active for a week, then I will delete it. After which you’ll have to download my main templates pack.
Be aware there maybe minor errors as the templates were made during closed testing and haven’t been double checked yet.
Anhalt, Etoile Routiere, and Vercesi have all been updated to swap out the old reefer mod to SCS fridge.
AI Vans has also been updated and should be live on Workshop shortly.
Three mods have had some minor updates.
Fuel Tankers – Updated localisation to remove “tn_” from the trailer browser
Nestlé Pack – Updated localisation to remove “tn_” from the trailer browser
Verhoek Pack – Updated model to fix broken SCS flare and put trailer wheels in correct position.
Early today the BSM was updated to bug fix a flare on one of the trailers, I also updated the Owned Trailer (custom trailer) skin. If you were using this skin and it disappeared it’s due to this update. Changes in the owned trailer mod forced this issue.
Version 2 of my custom trailer mod, which has been updated to include some new parts and a flatbed (with optional crane), is ready for release. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, this update will require you to sell old trailers from this mod.
This was caused by the system SCS uses for owned trailers and my lack of understanding of it in the beginning. Fortunately this shouldn’t happen again.
If you see this post before I push through the update, I suggest you sell the trailers now. If not, it’s no big deal. The trailers will default back to bog standard SCS ones.
PSG and Defunct pack updated to fix the old SCS flare error on the top/right of the trailers.
Happy New Year everyone.
Originally I was going to wait and release a completed mod. But in truth it’s been a struggle to finish reworking skins for the old Ford van, so I can’t imagine how I’m going to feel about remaking skins for a completely new Ford (2016) model van.
So rather than wait, I have decided to release the half complete (but fully working) version instead. My biggest annoyance was the vans appearing in countries they just shouldn’t be in, this update fixes that and I felt it was more important to push out that update than hold off until the new Ford van and skins were added.
Mod is of course Steam Only now, but the full change log and images can still be found on the appropriate page.
I fully intended to release this alongside my retirement announcement, but due to the Workshop Uploader being a pedantic prick, I had to tweak a few things first.
Due to some naming changes in the def files it is suggested that you sell any trailers and remake/buy them. It’s not a necessity, but it is highly recommended.
1.5 includes HCT trailers. Woo. Please note there are no painted bumpers for the primary trailers at this point, but they will be added in a future update.
First of all I would like to issue an apology to modhub.us in my previous post I included them along the pirate mod hosters that do not care about the community or the content creators. The mod was initially uploaded by a Russian site (by it’s admin) and copied to several others.
On contact modhub removed the mod without quibble. I unfairly threw you in the mix with the ‘bad eggs’ so I apologise to you.
From here this post is lengthy, sorry not sorry. I do ask you take the time to read it though as it should answer any questions you might have.
Over the past 6 or so months I have been toying with the idea of retiring from public modding.
