First up the Cancer Charity Malcolm/Stobart trailer has had a skin tweak so the rear bumper is now red.
The Cancer Charity trailer, Red Bull trailer, Tesco Fridge (every punnet) trailer, and Children in Need trailer have all had tweaks in the mat file so stop them being so reflective. In sunlight it was causing them to appear very washed out.
A new trailer has also been added to the Big Stobart mod. Long over due perhaps, but one of the Find Madeleine trailers is now in the pack. It shares the same cargo as the Cancer Charity trailer.
First up, not something I would normally do. But everyday I log into World of Trucks, and nearly every day I see a photo of one of my skins posted by RavensCraig. It’s always nice to see my work on WoT, nice to know other people are enjoying them.
Now onto business.
The BSM has once again been updated. The good news is I am 100% confident I have found all issues from the update. It’s taken me a few days, but I have gone through the joblist repeatedly until I found every single trailer/skin with all appropriate cargo.
This update is not a necessary one, in two cases the SDC trailer file in the cargo folders were not using the correct names which stopped those two cargoes loading on the SDC only. This has been fixed. I’ve also added new wheels to the SDC trailer as they look better than default and changed “Fizzy Drinks” to “Coca-Cola”.
I’ve also added a new pack to the combo page. This one is an SDC trailer and DAF XF 105 with a Shipley Transport Services. I was parked opposite “Blue Thunder” and Friday and really liked the design.
Update 15:21 UTC: There was an issue with the Big Malcolm Mod (version 1.1) walking floor cargoes which stopped them from spawning. This issue has been solved. (version 1.1.1)
If you updated the BMM earlier please do so again. I have double checked the mod and I am confident this was the only issue.
First of all The BMM has had the same updates as the BSM and is now available to download. There’s no new content to mention, just internal changes.
As with the BSM the changes will be considered game changing so do finish your job before updating or the game will cancel it.
There’s also been a minor update to the BSM to fix an error. For some reason the cargo for the Charity and Fridge trailers simply were not set up correctly. I have absolutely no idea why this occurred and can only assume it was a 7zip glitch.
I was working with two windows, one with the old files and one with the new, deleting the old as I was adding the new ones. For some reason the cargo files for these trailers were not in the company in/out folder so there was no cargo for them to pull. There’s no possible way I could have “forgotten” them due to the method I was using to update, so I am really at a loss to explain what happened.
Either way, this is now fixed.
Hopefully all errors have been caught this time. But due to the size of the mods, particularly the BSM, errors are going to sneak past. To fully test a mod like this can take weeks of game play, so if you do encounter an issue with with either mod. Please let me know and do send the game.log.txt file with the report.
The BSM has been updated to correct an error with the Tesco Rail container. I had missed out a line in the AI config that made it so the container didn’t show on the AI trailers, so trucks appeared to be pulling just the skeletal part.
Both BSM and BMM have had minor updates to the charity/cancer trailer.

These updates are just internal changes that adds info to the game log to help me help you if something should go wrong.
This update is not necessary, but if something should stop working due to a game update it may help me locate the issue.
Just as a reminder: The BSM & BMM are designed for game version 1.14x and above. They will NOT work on 1.13x and older.

The BSM has had several skin tweaks to add “trailer” numbers to the back doors to better replicate their real life counter parts.
Both mods have been updated to change the wheels of the Charity trailer from the default SCS trailer wheels to the wheels that came with the trailer model as the default SCS ones are too large and makes them looks as though they are cutting into the trailer.
Please Note: there may be a further update to the BSM over the weekend. So for those of you who still have limited bandwidth or other wise don’t want to download the BSM twice in the same week, you may wish to hold off. Whether or not the BSM gets another update will depend on how the vote goes for the poll which will be posted shortly.
I’ve been working on some of the standalone trailers in order to fix the “vanishing wheel” issue that some may have. Basically some parked trailers will have invisible wheels until you get closer to them, this is very easy to spot on trailers that I originally made using ETS2 Studio when I was learning how to do it for myself.

Unfortunately the Malcolm Cancer trailers is a 3rd party trailer which does not have any LOD files. This means I cannot fix the issue of invisible wheels for that trailer.
It’s worth noting that the Big Stobart Mod will also need updating to correct the issue on some trailers, however I don’t have the time tonight to do that.
