This morning (or last night) SCS updated the Steam Workshop uploader tool so the Stobart Truck skins that were previously released are now updated on the Workshop.
Now that the Steam Workshop tool works I am ready to release the BSM as well.
Version 12 of the BSM (1.30.x only) is a complete rework of the mod, all AI truck models have been completely remade from scratch which should fix the last OpenGL related issue.
First the “removal” AI trucks no longer have multiple skins for different names. When I first added this feature to the mod it was for Stobart Spotters who might like the idea of spotting the numerous names.
However this caused the trucks to spawn more frequently than I would like so I have decided that 1 skin per model is the better option. It’s also better for me if the mod requires updating as there are far less files to deal with.
New additions include the Stobart Energy WoodFuel trailer, Argos, Co-Op, and of course Rainbow Valentina.
WS and Explore have also had strobe beacons added for their AI models. Only the traffic with the construction/truck cargo will use beacons. The SDC trailer versions are turned off. Like wise the Stobart Brick Trailer beacons as turned off as they are mainly used when the crane is in operation, not while driving.
Warning: Because of Rainbow Valentina, this mod will only work on 1.30.x and above.
Another day another batch of updates.
First up the Renault Magnum Painted Grill mod has been updated to get the grill colour as close to the main body skin colour as humanly possible.
The Michelin Trailer Skin mod has been updated to include a Gigaliner combo for the SCS trailers.
The Replica Trailers Skin mod has also been updated to give the Profiliner skins a Gigaliner combo, as well as DHL and Wyvern Cargo additions.
And last but not least, a new addition to the page: Mermet Logistique.
First off lets start with the updates. As you know, SCS released the DAF Tuning DLC today, and some of my skins that were previously made fro 50keda’s DAF 105 and Ohaha’s E6 have been retro fitted to work with the new DLC instead. This does mean those skins no longer work with those old mods.
A few weeks ago I updated many mods just prior to Open Beta launching, some of those updates already included updated skins. So the ones not listed below should already be updated.
The template packs have been updated for the new DAF DLC parts. For those of you how don’t wish to download the whole pack you can temporarily get the two DAF packs here.

The NEW THINGS!
Yes there are new things. Those of you who are on my FB group will already know about these new mods, and probably wondered why two of them never appeared here. Well now you know, the skins were made for the DAF DLC.
A second blog post tonight as I update three mods.
First up my Engines mod has been updated and is now 1.28 functional (due to changes it is no longer 1.27 compatible). The DAF E6 now also has an appropriate badge.
Secondly the Scania Painted Intakes mod has been updated, not only have I fixed the slight discolouration (darker than main truck) I have also added the second UVmap so that they also work with all of SCS skins. There will be at least one more update for this mod at a later date, at which time I will also clean up any issues I may have missed in this one.
Be aware the Scania Painted Intake mod has had a file name change too. Be sure to manually remove the old one.
PC Hamilton has also been updated. Somewhere along the way the trailer “broke”. I am certain I updated the trailer but for what ever reason it had reverted to an older version pre-1.24 so the trailer sat too low and the advanced coupling was missing. Not entirely sure how this happened, but it’s fixed now.
Yup, August 1st is Yorkshire Day.
So here show a little Yorkshire Pride with this lovely Yorkshire Rose LED for the back of the cab. Available for all SCS trucks.

So with open beta comes more changes, mostly COG changes for trailers to match the ATS changes that came with the Heavy Cargo DLC.
While the mods will function just fine (with warnings in the log) I have decided to update the “offline” mods today. Be aware that all the trailer/combo mods are updated for 1.28 Open Beta and will not work on older game versions.
There are 88 mods that will be updated so I am not going to list them all here. But all mods found on the combo page and company/Trailer pages should be updated including both the Big Malcolm Mod and Big Stobart Mod.
The fuel tanker pack also gained a new trailer as part of its update.
The BSM update also includes an SDC curtain for Explore and a TYCO trailer and AI combo.
For those from my FB Group wondering where the NEW things are, I will release those after 1.28ETS goes public.
Jeavons has been updated to fix a unit name issue. This is a suggested update as it will cause conflicts with Verhoek if not updated.
Maritime has now been removed from the Truck Skins page and moved to the Combos page. It now includes two trailers, two truck skins (DAF E6 & Actros 2014) as well as AI combo.
