Bulk Updates

Several mods have been updated on Steam Workshop, in most cases these have been to tweak owned trailer skins for my Custom Trailer mod to support the changes coming in the next version.

Other tweaks may also have been made to fix old minor issues. A full list of updated mods can be seen below.

Over the coming days there will be another batch of updates for “new to the workshop” mods before I finally push out the new trailer mod update.

Updates

WARNING: Please read and understand the blog – changes made due to FH Tuning means you will lose accessories in the future if you ignore the information in this blog.

So before we get started highlighting changes, I would just like to point out that moving forward I will be using OneDrive over GoogleDrive/Backup and Sync because of changes they made that made caused it to be less user friendly and require additional unnecessary steps just to share links. I would honestly rather pay Microsoft £3 a month for more storage than get 15gb free from Google with this stupid changes. Any issues with downloading please do let me know.

Also note that the content within rar files will also change, those of you who have file extensions visible will notice the mod file is now ZIP and not SCS. This is an intentional change, please do not extract the ZIP or you’ll make a mess of your mod folder.

General changes: In all cases Volvo skins in the packs were made 4k and have changes to support the new FH Tuning DLC.

ETS2 Update (1.37OB)

The following mods have been updated for the 1.37 Open Beta build that released when SCS release Open Beta. In most cases the updates are just for 1.37 changes, but there are a few bug fixes and updates. Some mods may have new skins for OT (mostly my custom trailer).

The blog mods are already in my google drive folder ready to be sync’d.

Upcoming ETS2 changes

By now some of you will know that SCS pushed out a public beta update on Friday. This public beta includes a couple of changes to Volvo 2012 and Renault Magnum.

From a modding perspective these are good changes, they have made the front grill accessories. I have already made painted grills for both trucks that will be included in my Truck Accessory Pack.

Over the coming days I will be updating the Stobart Truck Skin Pack, to make the skins work with the painted grills. The Malcolm skins and JR Dixon skins are already updated.

What exactly has changed with the Volvo? Previously the SCS Volvo grills were tied to engine type. This is not longer the case. The silver and black grills are now accessories and can be selected in the shop separately from the engine. Only the FH badge will change based on engine type.

COT, Wyvern, BSM, and BMM updates.

tbsm

bmm

Wyvern, the Big Stobart Mod, and the Big Malcolm Mod have all received minor updates via Workshop today for compatibility with the custom owned trailer updates. Both BMM and BSM got an OT skin for the new SDC trailer in the COT mod, and the BSM also go a new skin for SCS curtain.

The Custom Owned Trailer mod got an SDC like curtain (4.8m) and insulated curtain, some new cooler units (full paint – tank is now painted), the alt SDC side skirts have been replaced with the aero+bar variant including a full paint version, there are 4 new rear bumpers, SDC Aeroliner like and the new SDC bumpers, with stock, burger lights, and custom light slot options.

My other mods that include COT skins will be updated in due course.

1.35 Workshop updates

All my ATS mods on workshop have been updated to 1.35 and several of my ETS2 ones have also been updated.

All updated mods support both 1.35 and 1.34 (and in some cases older)

The following mods will be updated over the next few days/week:
Big Stobart Mod
Custom Trailer
Scania Accessories
Stobart Truck Skins
Wychwood
Wyvern

These mods are getting other updates (and some fixes) so I need to be sure everything is read before pushing those through.

All mods hosted on this website will NOT be updated before 1.35 goes full public. This is because updated models for 1.35 will not work on older game versions (will crash them) and since some people don’t bother reading information files, would only moan when they screw up their game. So 1.35 updates will hate to wait until then.
