New Release & Updates

First up we have a new standalone trailer release. This was made some time ago, but I have decided to release it to the masses.

The trailer is a Red Dwarf themed box (model by TZ Rommi) and pulls the cargo TV Memorabilia.

The updates are the continuation of the 1.17+ update compatibility, there’s two sets of updates here. One for the missing wheel lods and one for just trailer weights. The former is a suggested update, the latter is completely optional.

Please note: It was difficulty to place the lod wheels perfectly in the same place as the main wheels (no reference points) so you may notice that as wheels switch from the LOD variant to full details, they shift slightly in one direction.

Children In Need 2014 – Trailer Released

Thanks to all who donated to get their name on this trailer.

All donations will be forwarded to CiN Charity on Friday afternoon.

The trailer is now available to download for all.

But just a reminder, this trailer is only compatible with game update 1.14 and will not work on older versions due to the changes in how the game handles cargo.

Children in Need 2014 Trailer Preview

Well it’s November now, with CiN on Friday 14th here’s a little peek at the named side of the trailer.

Full details on how to get your name on the trailer are available in the sticky blog post, donations will be accepted up until Wednesday 12th. After that no donations will be accepted as I’ll need the time to finish the trailer to make sure it’s available for Friday to download.

BSM V0.4 & Malcolm Truck Updates.

tbsm

First up the BSM has been updated to version 0.4 – this update includes the Malcolm Group Cancer Research Charity trailer that they paid Stobart’s to pull.

This trailer is limited to Frozen Food & Yohgurts and will only deliver to/from Kaarfor/Sellplan & Stokes.

I have also updated the three Malcolm trucks for two reasons.

The first was to replace the MalcolmGroup website text so that it uses the correct font.

The second was to rename the Malcolm Contruction SCS file as I had named it the same as the Malcolm Logistics file meaning you couldn’t use both at the same time. Ooopsie.

Children in Need

So with Children in Need coming up in a couple of weeks time I thought it would be nice to offer a CIN skin for people wishing to donate to the charity.

The [name] will of course be changed to your name/nickname.

The trailer is a stand alone trailer and does not replace any company.
It will pull the following cargo: Clothes, Fizzy Drinks, Electronics, Packaged Foods, Medicine and Toys.
It will deliver to/from the following companies: Eurogoodies, Kaarfor (in only), Posped, Sellplan (in only), Stokes, Tradeaux, Trameri, and Transinet.
Please note: The mod is compatible with game version 1.4.1 and above, it will not work on any older version.

How long will this be open & what happens to the money: This year the Children in Need BBC TV event will take place on Friday 15th November. On the morning of Saturday 16th, I will be removing the donation instructions and sending any/all donations to the official Paypal of Children in Need.

When will you receive the trailer: I will endeavour to complete and email your trailer within an hour of receiving payment, assuming you send payment between 10am-10pm GMT.

Will you make charity skins in the future: That really depends on how well this works.  The more interest there is, the more likely I will do it in future for other charities.

How it works:

For any donation of 50p or over you will receive this Children in Need stand alone trailer with your name/nickname on it. Follow the instructions below if you would like to make a donation.

Donation period has ended.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you fill in the email form and include the following: The name you wish to appear on the trailer & the email address where you want the trailer to be sent.

If you are unfamiliar with Children in Need you can find more about it on the BBC wesite here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey

If you would like to donate but have no interest in the trailer; please donate directly to Children in Need via the BBC website.
