Stock SCS Vans AI

First up the SCS Stock van pack 1 has been updated, this is just to fix the mod manager image. I had left the image the same as the custom van pack icon. The mod now has an image from its own skins.

Also released is the SCS Stock van pack 2 which contains 21 skins from the Scandinavia DLC companies.

Please note: The mod is set up to only allow the van skins to spawn in the DLC countries. So if you don’t own the DLC the vans will not show for you.

However, the mod is open so if you wish to edit which countries they will/won’t show in, you are free to do so.

So to see in the new year I have updated several mods.

BSM: Let’s start with some good news; Ekualizer has finally come back to me in regards to the Scania 143m model and we are a go. So the BSM has had a minor update to include appropriate credits in the file. If you’re using 6.3 then consider this an optional update, there is NO new content.

Mercedes Actros AI: Next up we see some new Actros traffic; I had a poll on the FB group and the majority of people seemed interested in having SCS like stock MP4 trucks in the AI. So I have released a mod to enable the Gigaspace in traffic and it should pull all available trailers, including mod trailers that haven’t been linked to specific ai cabs. Mod can be found on the “Other Mods” page.

AW Jenkinson: Then we have an AI update for A.W. Jenkinson, ai trucks include the MP4, Volvo 2012, and Scania Highline. I’ve also updated the Volvo 2009 so that the skin (and optional lightbox) works for Ohaha’s new Volvo Classic mod.

Banks of England: BoE also sees an AI update and also sees the first Renault I have made for AI. 🙂

Knowles Transport: Another update for the AI, the Volvo 2012 has been dragged into service to pull the Knowles trailer.

AI Vans: And finally we have another update for the AI Vans. This update sees two UK skins U-Benders, and British Heart Foundation. The latter is a replacement for the fictional green/yellow Plumbers van.

Hungary also sees a new livery in Szabofrigocargo.hu

And finishing up with two Slovakian skins in lokapetit, and Goro30.

Big Stobart Mod v6.3 Released

So it’s almost the end of the year and I suppose it is only fitting that the final blog post of the year will be the announcement of the final BSM update. And yes I do mean the last BSM update (pretty much).

So first I should probably cover why this will be the last BSM update. It’s fairly simple; there’s really nothing left to add for me. Short of compatibility updates, bug fixes and tweaks, all the main work is done and it’s safe to say that this mod has far exceeded what I had planned when I made my very first Stobart company mod. The only reason to update the mod now is if Stobart bring out a fancy new trailer design. But who knows what the future is going to bring and what may become of the BSM down the line.

So with that news out of the way; let’s move on to the new additions.

First up Oakfield joins the crew pulling both the Elite Dreams trailer and the SCS logs trailer.

Then we have the addition of the Volvo 2009 with four names pulling general Stobart trailers and the Maddie trailer.

There’s also a few extras thrown in for good measure and a few fixes for the “no suitable trailer” error.

So as this the final blog update of 2015, I shall wish you all a Happy New Year and hope to see you early in the new year with some new updates.

Big Stobart Mod v6.2 Released

So the final 2015 update for the BSM is here. This update includes some minor tweaks to fix potential cached materials issues.

The Scania T has it’s own SDC style trailer, the original classic [2] trailer has been given to two new trucks, the DAF and Volvo in classic ESL livery.

The WS Transport truck also has it’s own new curtain side trailer for both player and AI traffic.

I’ve added some new destinations for some of the Stobart cargo so you can now take them to Scandinavian areas.

I have also added a Scania 143m model in classic [70s] Stobart livery purely for the AI to go with the old trailer. Be aware approval for this model is still pending, so it may end up being removed at a later date.

Big Stobart Mod 6.1.22 – Bug Fix

Today sees the release of v6.1.22, unfortunately the previous release had an issue with the Scania transporter collision which would cause hilarity to ensue when the truck spawns, you know if you find AI trucks doing wheelies and jack-knifing to be hilarious.

I wasn’t intending to release another BSM until 6.2 with a full fleet of Volvo 2009 AIs included. However the Scania issue forced me to push out a fix. The good news is that the update also comes with an extra couple of goodies.

Matilda H6668 joins the pack purely to pull the Steady Eddie trailer and Debby H4700 for the Malcolm Charity trailer.

Wyvern Cargo, Yorkshire Tea, and American Sweets

Three updates today. The Yorkshire Tea combo has had an update to stop AI trucks from being able to park.

American Sweets combo now includes AI truck traffic.

And a new addition to the site; Wyvern Cargo, includes one trailer with two cargo options and two Scania R topline skins both of which are in the AI as well.

As always game versions 1.21.x or above is required for packs with AI truck/trailer combos.

BSM 6.0.6 Update

The next version of the BSM has now been released and includes the following updates.

Mercedes MP4: Doorhandles added. Apparently trapping your drivers in trucks with a bucket to pee in is illegal. Who knew. 😉
Highline (w/o windkit) – 3 ESL skins with ADR board for the Tankers.
MAN – Three ESL skins with ADR board for the tankers.
Mercedes 2009 – Three Tesco skins, one with the old Tesco crest two without.
Scania T – Old ESL Livery for the old ESL trailer.

Woodside and BMM Updates

First off the Woodside company replacement for Euroacres has been changed to replace BCP instead.

The Big Malcolm Mod has also had another update. The old walking floor trailer skin that was on the coolliner has been replaced by an edited version of the TZ Rommi walking floor model and now includes an extra skin variation.

Tesco Sellplan replacement update

A quick update to the Tesco Sellplan company replacement to update the trailer skin. The back doors of the trailer were a quick job until I could find a reference shot for what it looks like.

I was able to take a photo yesterday and have now updated the skin to match the real trailer design on the back.
