First up I have made a few minor tweaks to the truck skinning tutorial including a new (hopefully easier to follow) tutorial video.

A while back I showed off some images of a private mail mod which sparked quite some interest, the subsequent poll had a substantial 44 votes in favour of me releasing it.

Today I finally release the mod. Please understand this was always intended as as a personal mod, so the set up was really for my own use, due to the size I didn’t feel like making any edits to it for the public version, so it is very much a “as is” mod.

Mail Company: Poll

Some time ago I made myself a UK Mail Mod which I called UK Postal Service Group which replaces Trameri in game.

It essentially uses a bunch of stand alone trailers with liveries of mail related groups.

So far the companies I have on it are

APC Overnight
City Link
Delivered.Net
DHL
DHL Frozen
DPD
FedEx
Hermes
Parcel Force
Royal Mail
TNT
UKMail
UPS
White Arrow
Yodel

So the question is, should I make it a public release? This poll is to gauge the interest in such a mod.

Feel free to reply with any additional mail related companies might make good additions to it should it be released publicly.

Update to several trucks

Just to note I have updated several of my old truck skins so that the icon you see in the paint shop looks neater and fits in with the default icons.

The changes affect the following trucks:

McCarthy Haulage
P&C Hamilton
UPS
McLaughlin Transport
Harwood Haulage
DHL
Stobart Rail
All modern Stobart’s (Scania/both Phoebe Grace Volvos/Merc)

Please note: if you are using my old Stobart Scania skin (Daisy Emma) please update this to the new version, there are some old files in it that may affect the Stobart Rail skin.

Poppy now has the correct icon showing, I accidentally left the Pollock icon showing for this truck (may appear blank or crash if you don’t have the Pollock trucks)
